Go Back
Chris first picked up the guitar at age 12 and hasn'’t put it down since. Playing in bands since high school, he went on to study guitar at Indiana University’'s renowned School of Music, and continues learning from mentors the likes of Chicago'’s own Dave Uhrich.
His many guitar heroes include legends Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen and Nuno Bettencourt, and he has been indelibly influenced by bands across the metal spectrum –from Kiss, AC/DC, Sabbath and Ozzy to Iron Maiden, Crüe and Ratt.
Chris is a familiar face on the area club scene, most recently appearing with Chicagoland rockers 4Play.
Gary grounds “the HOUSE” sound with totally locked chops earned through decades of hard won experience and impressive credits. He first played guitar for nine years before taking on the bass at the ripe old age of 18, and has continued to rack up original and cover band experience on the Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix and Chicago live music scenes ever since.
Gary’'s early credits include managing and sound engineering for Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids during that artist’s formative years in South Florida, and he also met Alice Cooper while performing with Phoenix recording artist Noize Bone when they appeared in a competition Alice sponsored and judged. That event also introduced Gary to fellow contestant Jordan Sparks who went on to win American Idol.
No stranger on the Chicago club scene, Gary has played with local favorites Big Babies, CORE, Hairbanger’s Ball, and most recently appeared with alternative and classic cover band Antidote.
Gary also brings a vital voice to the ROCKHOUSE sound as an accomplished singer, originally inspired by the tight harmonies of iconic 60’s and 70’s artists like The Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash, Boston and Foreigner.
David begged his folks for piano lessons before his feet could reach the pedals, finally starting at age 6 and finishing with a degree in music. He came of age under the spell of progressive keyboard pioneers Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman, and also enjoyed the more mainstream sounds of Elton John and Billy Joel.
A well-traveled pro, David’s past bands include Euphoria, August, Next Exit and The Silverfish, and he has played shows throughout the Chicago club scene at venues like Cubby Bear, Frankie'’s Blue Room, Goose Island and Elbo Room.
Airline pilot by day, Zbig captains ROCKHOUSE as group founder and leader, and lays down the band’'s huge beat that locks the rock in place. His influences, including Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater, Vinnie Paul of Pantera, and Nicko McBrain with Iron Maiden, can be heard both in his incredible skill and the band’'s singular set list.
Zbig has rocked venues like The Thirsty Whale, Stay Out West, McGregor's and Gateway Theater with his former band, NMS Howel, signed to Red Light Records.
In addition to being Captain of the band, Zbig is also Chief Engineer, producing all the band'’s recordings and authoring the band’s website.
